Mediation continues to gain popularity as the preferred alternative dispute resolution platform. The flexibility of the process is one of its greatest strengths - but this flexibility can also be the source of confusion and set-backs. Increasing awareness of the nuances and opportunities of the mediation process can help counsel to better serve the client. This program will focus on practical skill development by breaking down the mediation process into its critical phases and engage participants in analysis of the strategic decision-making points to bear in mind within each phase.
