Admissions Analyst

The Board of Law Examiners is seeking a qualified person for the position of Admissions Analyst I. The successful applicant will review and analyze applications for admission to practice law for completeness and as part of the background investigation of applications, as well as assist with examination administration, serve as lead staff at the exam location as required, perform some financial duties, and other duties as assigned.


The successful applicant must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants should be comfortable with online records management systems and navigating computer programs. Applicants must have experience in compiling and analyzing data; proofreading data files and documents is important. The applicant must have good communication and customer service skills as the position has frequent contact with the public, the Board, members of the Judiciary and other legal professionals. The applicant should be able to work independently and in a team environment.


Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma and four years of increasingly responsible administrative experience and/or office administration experience. Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and one year of administrative, office management or process management experience may substitute for the required experience.
