Deputy Appeal Clerk - Nashville

The Office of the Appellate Court Clerk is seeking a qualified person for the position of Deputy Appeal Clerk at the Supreme Court Building in Nashville.  The duties for this position include: filing of documents in the Appellate Courts, entering data in an electronic minute book regarding those documents, and various other administrative and clerical duties.  In particular, the work requires knowledge and skill in data entry and organizational skills with an emphasis on details.  It is preferred but not required that applicants have experience in word processing on Word and WordPerfect and data processing.  Prior administrative work experience with the judicial system in Tennessee is also preferred.

A high school diploma is required.  Salary for this position is negotiable depending upon prior relevant work experience.
